Panel Speakers:
Mr. Allen Cheong - Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets of one leading Japanese investment bank.
In his role, Mr. Cheong has participated in several cross border equity fund raising deals including IPOs, rights issues and placements. Prior to this, he worked in similar scope in financial institutions including DBS Bank and Kim Eng Securities. He has been in the financial industry for more than 13 years. A CFA charterholder, Allen holds a business degree from NTU and graduated with an executive MBA degree from the Chicago Booth School of Business
Mr. Wee Siang Ng – Director and Regional Head of ASEAN Financials of BNP Paribas
Throughout his 10-year equity research career, Mr. Ng was highly ranked for his research work in various investor polls. Mr. Ng received the second highest vote for Singapore bank coverage in the 2010 Institutional Investor polls. Mr. Ng was ranked no. 4 and 6 in the "Best Analyst" category in Asiamoney 2008 and 2009 polls, respectively. Mr. Ng holds a Bachelor degree, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from the University of Sydney. He became a CFA charterholder in June 2005.
Mr. Jordi Costa – Buy-side analyst, Strategic Investment Advisors Group (SIA)
Mr. Costa is a buy-side analyst with a MBA qualification. He is currently attached to Strategic Investment Advisors Group (SIA), a long-only-value fund that has USD1b assets under management.
